For me, that is the core of it, closeness and emotional sharing. Closeness can also be with other deep friends through whatever medium is chosen. A problem shared is a problem halved. Remember there are many out there in relationships that are not physically challenged and socially, seemingly perfect, yet back home together, poles apart. That is 'darkness' itself . She said after the spouse has cleaned you, fed you and looked after you, desire for you naturally goes out the window. It's only possible to be a concerned care-giver after this. It's a bit late in the day for some of us... I guess at the end of the day it's having someone there for you that really counts. Or am I only consoling myself?...
