Alternative medicine

March 5th, 2007 · 5 Comments

I’m sure everyone will have something to say about this.
I use a Chinese acupressure mat, which helps my circulation, I think. My naturopath is also a radionics practitioner. I know it’s to do with broadcasting frequencies to your body, but don’t ask me how it works. And the diet is an important part of his treatment. I’ll let you know soon what I can eat this month as it changes from time to time. Oh, I also do light yoga exercises.
What alternative medicine are you all trying out; and what the results?

    yeah fair cop guv.

yogas realy good and i ll either put in a link or send a scan of some breathing exercises that generally raise your ‘chi/ki/qui’

its strage that its called alternative medicine as oriental medics have been using these techniquies for generation upon generation whilst western pharmocological medicine has only realy been around for well a hundred or so years-
also the kool thing about eastern techniques is that they don t cost money and you can do them in your own time-
which bviously does nt imply that western meds should be ignored or at all denigrated its just for long term icd’s [thanks for phrase kim] people who only practice western medicine tend to take it as an affront if theres no quick fix cure

radionics mmmm will checkit out but sounds like the placebo effect but with wires and dials
but if dr twiddler makes you feel better….

hey i ve an idea – why don t you start telling him what to eat and see how he likes it-

done a bit of research into radionics and is nt it similar to the transmission of ‘orgone’ energy talked about by dr wilhelm reich – also gerald gardener was a fan of it as he mentions it approvingly in erm, ‘witchcraft today’
will email you links as i come up with them but most of the chi/qui raising excercises i do are
    a] very gentle
b] taken from martial arts texts or magazines
so i ll have to scan in rather than link or send scans to you rather

I did say I didn’t know how it works, but ‘witchcraft today’ – hahaha, that might be it. Seriously speaking, I’ve seen people with Parkinsons recover after consulting him, and I’ve heard of [but not seen myself] cancer patients being symptom-free after seeing him. That’s what I was looking at, even if it seems likes hocus pocus.

does anybody else do ‘golden power’ meditation?

    close your eyes
    take 5 deep breaths
sense your body turning into liquid gold
where is your power centre is it your heart or your head
    take 2 deep breath
    say aloud
visualise your body filling with golden energy

try this everyday for a week

just wondering if anyone interested in a brief guide to your chakras and meditations for each
in terms of pain control and bio-feedback i ve found that visualising areas of pain as red coloured and then trying to change them into a more soothing blue/green whatever your favourite colour is can work sometimes
although having some sativa and a glass of michiu take hand helps
