A poem by Wendy

Wendy Campbell wrote this wonderful poem which I thought I should share:

I Hear Each Tear Fall On Her Face
My Mum doesn’t know
I’m watching her
But I’m watching her just the same.
And I hear each tear fall on her face
When my name is said aloud….
She says it sounds like music to her ears
And can be heard over a crowd.
Oh, I hear each tear fall on her face
At the very mention of my name…..
Zeraiah!

I watch her struggle through each day
As she cares for me in her special way
I hear the tiredness in her voice
And sings me to sleep at night
I know she wishes the day would end.
Then I hear each tear fall on her face
As she talks of me to her friends….
But there are few who truly understand.
Oh this I’ve heard her proclaim.
And I hear each tear fall on her face.
At each mention of my name…..
Zeraiah!

Mum says my smile lights up her sky.
My presence is the reason why
She meets each day with new resolve
See mother loves me dearly…
I just know my mother cares
Because no matter what…
She is always there
Oh, but I hear each tear fall on her face.
Her pain and sadness if only I could erase
Yes, my Mom doesn’t know I’m watching her.
But I’m watching her just the same.
When I hear a tear fall on her face
I hold her tightly in my embrace
As she softly whispers my name….
Zeraiah!

In and through everything we will always give thanks!
